What follows is the contents of a folder that contained photos, a magazine article, scrapbook pages photos and newspaper clippings, a sermon, and several stories all describing the actions of Nels T Wold whose valor earned him the Congressional Metal of Honor during the closing days of World War 1. The file also included letters leading up to and during the war back and forth between Nels and his his sister-in-law Clara Wold (Ingvald Wold wife). Clara gave this file to her Grandson Curt Wold and eventually was in the possession of Milton Yergens (me) another of Clara's grandsons. The material in this file has has been scanned and eventually will join a collection Clara's papers in the archive of The University North Dakota. Although chaotically presented one can gain insight on many levels by just simply reviewing and any starting point.
